The rooms at Hakone Retreat Villa By Onko Chishin are absolutely amazing! They have everything you need for a comfortable stay, like air conditioning, a minibar, and even a coffee machine. And the balcony with a mountain view? It's breathtaking! Plus, some rooms have a kitchen, which is perfect for those who want to cook their own meals.

Personally, I found the hot spring bath a bit too hot for my liking, but I understand that others may enjoy it.

This was an incredible stay for every night of our stay. Booked a room with lovely views to the nature. The location met needs, it was stunning and beautiful to most other attractions in Hakone.

The hotel is stunningly beautiful and situated in a gorgeous traditional style building. The room was spotlessly clean, offering a lovely view, and the staff was extremely caring. The location is convenient, being close to sightseeing areas and attractions, as well as the Gotemba outlet.

Exceptionally nice setting, right by the onsite restaurant and café, and the nearby Lalique museum, Venerian Glass Museum, Chian Ji buddha garden and shrine worh 500 buddhas and lunch t Hakone Sushi. Also, easy to get to Hakone Glass Nomori Museum. Well-equipped rooms, exceptional stay for every night of our stay! Had great central heating, a private safe, and a mini bar fridge.

The location of the retreat villa is stunning and not far from the Hakone Venetian Glass Museum. The staff were affable and excellent, and I want to extend a special thanks to them. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely return next time. Thank you very much!

The room with view. There were an electric kettle, a refrigerator, and glassware upon arrival. The hotel had a secluded location to the nearby Lalique museum. Everyone from the staff was amiable and extremely friendly.

Great way to end our trip. Excellent traditional hotel, worth its 4 stars. Incredibly kind and outstandingly accommodating staff and magnificent location short walk to the nearby Lalique museum, the public bus stop and the staff entrance and delivery areas.

The retreat is located in a secluded area, which ensures a peaceful and calm environment. The rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable futons to sleep on. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service. Breakfast and dinner at the on-site restaurant are amazing and are worth the try.

The only negative aspect is the remote location, which can be inconvenient for those who want to explore the nearby city attractions.

The view from the inn was gorgeous, and the rooms were incredibly spacious; I was very impressed with the suite. Just a short walk away, there's a lovely place called il piacere where you can enjoy a nice lunch.

The Japanese Kaiseki multi-course meal was a true adventure and the staff made every effort to cater to our taste preferences. The calm and friendly staff created a very relaxing and serene atmosphere. , the private accommodation surrounded by nature, including our own hot bath, was a great advantage.

we experienced a problem with the shower in our room, as it was cold. Although it may have been a specific issue in our room, it was still a letdown.
